
Frozen Summer Coffee Recipes

1. Coffee Ice Cubes (Basic + Flavor Twists)
Best with: Any bold roast like Gold Nugget Espresso or Italiano di Paradiso
Ingredients:
- Fresh brewed coffee (strong)
- Optional: vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, flavored syrup, or spices
Instructions:
- Let brewed coffee cool.
- Pour into ice cube trays.
- Optional: Add a dash of extract or flavored syrup to each cube.
- Freeze overnight. Use in iced coffee to keep it strong and flavorful!
2. Mocha Coffee Frappe
Best with: Cold brew or cooled Gold Nugget Espresso
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold brew or strong chilled coffee
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1–2 tbsp sweetener (sugar, syrup, etc.)
- 1–2 handfuls coffee ice cubes
Instructions:
- Blend all ingredients until smooth and icy.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle if desired.
3. Iced Coconut Coffee Slush
Best with: Sawmill Peak or a medium roast with chocolate notes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup strong cold coffee
- 1/2 cup canned coconut milk
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice or coffee cubes
Instructions:
- Combine all in a blender.
- Blend until creamy and slushy.
- Optional: Top with toasted coconut.
4. Affogato Float (Frozen Twist)
Best with: Gold Nugget Espresso or Italiano di Paradiso
Ingredients:
- 1–2 scoops vanilla or coffee ice cream
- 1/2 cup chilled espresso or strong cold brew
- Optional: 1 oz Kahlúa or Irish Cream (21+)
- Optional toppings: chocolate shavings, cinnamon, espresso beans
Instructions:
- Add ice cream to a glass.
- Pour coffee over top.
- Add liqueur if using, and garnish.
5. Frozen Berry Latte
Best with: Light roasts like White Coyote Blonde
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup cold brew or chilled espresso
- 1–2 tsp honey or agave
Instructions:
- Blend until smooth and frosty.
- Pour into a chilled glass.
- Optional: Garnish with extra berries or mint.
6. Coffee Granita (No Blender Needed!)
Best with: Any roast — customize to your flavor preference
Ingredients:
- 2 cups strong brewed coffee
- 2–3 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
Instructions:
- Stir sugar into hot coffee until dissolved.
- Pour into shallow dish and freeze.
- Every 30 minutes, scrape with fork to create flaky ice.
- Serve in chilled glasses with cream or whipped topping.
