Our Story

Welcome to our little corner of the world! We live on The Ridge in Butte County, California, and we couldn’t be more grateful to call this beautiful area home. We’re passionate about seeing our community thrive and are excited to be part of the positive change happening in our town.

Coyote Ridge Mercantile is a woman-owned, locally rooted business, created from a love of community, creativity, and the simple joy of discovering something special. My husband, Roy, and I have been married since college, and our journey together has been a beautiful adventure—one that just keeps getting sweeter with time. Building this little business together has been another chapter in that adventure, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of the wonderful community here on The Ridge.

When we’re not out exploring the beauty of nature, discovering new places, or enjoying a quiet moment together with a good cup of coffee, you’ll probably find me watching my chickens roam, puttering around in the garden, or hanging out with our cats and grandkids. It’s the simple, everyday moments that make life so rich and meaningful.

At Coyote Ridge Mercantile, we love bringing together locally made goods, thoughtfully chosen products, and of course, great coffee—all in one welcoming place.
